POSITION: Executive Chef for Successful High-Volume ($8 - $10 Million +) Independent Seafood-centric Restaurant in Panama City Beach, FL.

OVERVIEW: We are seeking a Top-Tier Fresh Seafood Restaurant Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine to join our team. You will thrive in a fully supportive, locally owned environment that is committed to continuing to grow the restaurant’s excellent brand and quality reputation. You will work in tandem with our General Manager and our award-winning Corporate Chef, who does NOT micromanage, as he also oversees other obligations outside of Panama City Beach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

MUST absolutely, positively love the lifestyle of the Gulf Coast of the FL Panhandle

* Coach, Mentor, and Further Develop Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef, Key Hourlys, and all Kitchen Staff + Oversee day-to-day culinary operations

Be Responsible for Food Cost and Kitchen Labor Cost
Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
Check freshness and quality of ingredients – Use Local Vendors wherever possible
Assist in the development of menu items with the Corporate Culinary Director
Standardize recipes and plate presentations – Keep Recipe Book 100% up to date
Work with Management to create a memorable experience for guests
Utilize Local Ownership for their knowledge of the market
Maintain High Health Department Rating with consistent cleaning activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST absolutely, positively love the lifestyle of the Gulf Coast of the FL Panhandle

* Previous experience executing an upscale Seafood-centric Menu

* Knowledge of cost and labor systems

* Passion for Consistently Great food and cooking techniques

* Strong leadership qualities

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
