Full Job Description

Maple Ridge Rehab and Nursing is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant to our team. Full time, Part time and PRN shifts are available. Maple Ridge Rehab and Nursing is a 36 bed Medicaid only Nursing Facility serving long term patients who need continued assistance with ADLs and Med Management.

We are looking for a CNA to care for and about our patients and provide them with high quality care and a meaningful quality of life. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best CNA care with little supervision. You will be compassionate and cool-tempered. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety
- Assist with feeding and meal preparation
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a nursing assistant training program or equivalent experience
- Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA)
- Experience in medical office or senior care settings preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME)
- Understanding of assisted living, dementia care, memory care, and primary care principles
- Ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
