We are seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative Logistics Analyst (Entry Level) to serve as a key liaison between propulsion/ground support equipment engineering teams, internal operations, and external hardware vendors at Cape Canaveral.

Job Details

- Position Type: Full-Time, Contract (12 Months)
- Pay Rate: $22.00 – $33.00 per hour. Eligible for overtime pay
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between Propulsion/Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (GSE) engineering teams, external vendors/subcontractors, and internal teams (procurement, subcontract administration, material management, and finance).
- Vendor & Requirement Tracking: Communicate hardware requirements from engineering to vendors. Request, track, and validate part numbers, cost estimates, actual costs, and lead times.
- Procurement Execution: Submit and track purchase orders, task statements, and Statements of Work (SOWs). Monitor need dates, identify potential schedule risks, and coordinate resolutions across teams.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively resolve documentation or part discrepancies. Identify alternative vendor sources when needed to maintain program schedules.
- Operational & Site Support: Provide direct support to suppliers, factory teams, and launch site operations to keep procurement on schedule, streamline workflows, and coordinate end-point delivery for hardware.
What Skills You'll NeedBasic Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience in logistics, procurement, supply chain, or technical operations support.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build trust with teammates, prioritize tasks, and respectfully give and receive constructive feedback.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong desire to work directly with technical engineering teams in support of Cryogenic Fluid, Pneumatic Fluid, and Mechanical systems.
- Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license (required for driving between work sites on base) and be available for periodic travel to vendors or alternate sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and Teamcenter.
- Background or experience supporting aerospace hardware, ground support equipment, or manufacturing procurement.

This position requires access to information subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Security Clearance:
As a condition of employment, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable National Agency Check Inquiry (NAC-I) approval (in accordance with Air Force Instruction 31-501 or equivalent) for continuous unescorted access to all work locations and controlled/restricted base areas.
Screening Requirements:
This position requires clearing both a background check and drug test.
