Full Job Description

**We are a 501c3 Church Extension fund, so our clients will be Christian Churches within the Restoration Movement.

**You must be a current member of a local non-denominational Christian Church or Church of Christ.

The Regional President for the Western Region is a senior leadership role responsible for advancing The Solomon Foundation’s mission by expanding relationships, growing investment and loan portfolios, raising deposits, and strengthening partnerships with the Restoration Movement non‑denominational Christian Churches and Churches of Christ across the Western Region.

This leader will serve as the primary ambassador for TSF in the region, driving business development while owning full responsibility for the regional balance sheet and income statement.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with a pastor’s heart — someone who can speak the language of church leaders, understand ministry needs, and guide them toward wise stewardship and growth through TSF’s investment, lending, and Legacy Fund solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Relationship Leadership

· Build, nurture, and expand relationships with pastors, church leaders, investors, and ministry partners across the Midwest.

· Grow the regional investment base by raising deposits from individuals, families, business owners and churches through TSF’s investment offerings.

· Increase long‑term revenue by cultivating Legacy Fund commitments, engaging donors in planned‑giving conversations, and helping churches and individuals steward resources for Kingdom impact.

· Identify, cultivate, and close lending opportunities that support church expansion, relocation, renovation, and ministry growth.

· Represent TSF at regional events, conferences and church gatherings.

· Serve as a trusted advisor to church leaders, offering guidance on financial strategy, capital planning, and facility development.

Financial & Operational Ownership

· Own full P&L responsibility for the Midwest region, including revenue growth, expense management, and portfolio performance.

· Manage the regional balance sheet, ensuring healthy loan‑to‑investment ratios, asset quality, and risk management.

· Drive deposit and loan growth and Legacy Fund revenue as core components of regional financial performance.

· Monitor loan performance, proactively address emerging risks, and collaborate with underwriting and credit teams.

· Develop and execute annual regional business plans aligned with TSF’s strategic objectives.

Leadership & Collaboration

· Work closely with TSF’s executive leadership to align regional efforts with national strategy.

· Partner with internal teams (loan operations, marketing, investment operations, Legacy Fund specialists, underwriting) to deliver exceptional service to churches and investors.

· Provide regional insights, market intelligence, and ministry trends to inform organizational strategy.

· Uphold and model TSF’s values, mission, and commitment to serving the Kingdom.

Qualifications

· A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a passion for supporting church growth and Kingdom impact.

· Familiarity with the Restoration Movement non‑denominational Christian Churches and Churches of Christ, including culture, leadership structures, and ministry priorities.

· Proven experience in business development, financial services, lending, fundraising, or capital‑raising roles.

· Demonstrated ability to raise deposits, secure investments, or cultivate planned‑giving commitments.

· Strong financial literacy, including understanding of balance sheets, income statements, and portfolio management.

· Excellent communication, preaching/presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative national team.

· Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Western Region and across the U.S.

· Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.

· High integrity, humility, and a service‑oriented leadership style.

· Comfortable discussing stewardship, generosity, and planned giving in a ministry context.

Location

Preferably based in Arizona with regular travel to churches, events, and partner ministries.

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt, Unlimited PTO

FT/PT: Full time

Reports to: EVP/President

Supervisory Responsibility: None.

Travel Responsibilities: This position requires regular travel, including overnight and multi-day trips to support the organization’s overall needs for lending, pastoral support and project overview.

Physical Requirements:

· Significant travel during the week and on weekends.

· Sit or stand in the same area for long periods of time, being on a computer most of the day, unlimited phone calls, ability to type 35wpm+. Computer saavy.
