Patient Care Technician - Outpatient Dialysis

Orem, UT

Schedule Overview: Our PCTs work 3-4 days/week rotating between Monday-Saturday. The clinic does not operate on Sundays. This particular role is currently offering 30-35 hours/week after completion of training. Teammates rotate between opening and closing shifts, with shifts beginning as early as 4:15am, or ending as late as 8:30pm. Shift lengths range from 8-11 hours.

Support staff: PCTs at Orem work alongside 1 Registered Nurse, and up to two other PCTs.

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
Record vital signs and patient data
Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

Accredited High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent
Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment
Physically able to work long shifts on your feet
Willing to float between local clinics if needed
Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
