Associate, Marketing Content (Annuities & Retirement Solutions)

Are you an experienced insurance copywriter, financial content strategist, or annuity marketing professional looking to make a bigger impact? Join a leading global investment firm and help shape the messaging behind innovative retirement and wealth solutions used by financial professionals and consumers nationwide.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of insurance, annuities, retirement planning, content marketing, and digital strategy, creating compelling content that drives engagement, supports distribution teams, and simplifies complex financial concepts.

What You'll Do

As a key member of the marketing team, you'll develop high-impact content and campaigns that support the growth of a market-leading annuity business.

Responsibilities include:

Create compelling marketing content for fixed annuities, fixed indexed annuities (FIA), and variable annuities
Translate complex insurance and financial concepts into clear, engaging, and actionable messaging
Develop B2B and B2C content across multiple channels, including:
- Websites and landing pages
- Email campaigns
- Social media
- Sales collateral
- Thought leadership articles
- Video scripts and voiceovers
- Presentations and seminars
Partner closely with product marketing, sales leadership, compliance, and creative teams to develop effective marketing campaigns
Apply best practices in SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), content optimization, email marketing, CTA development, and digital engagement
Create audience-specific messaging that supports advisors, distributors, and consumers throughout the sales journey
Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and content strategy across all channels
Leverage AI-powered content and workflow tools to improve efficiency and content performance
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field
7+ years of professional copywriting, content marketing, or marketing communications experience
4+ years of experience within insurance, annuities, retirement services, wealth management, or financial services
Strong understanding of annuity products and retirement income strategies preferred
Proven ability to write both:
- Short-form content (emails, digital ads, sales materials)
- Long-form content (articles, thought leadership, educational content)
Experience creating content for both financial professionals and end consumers
Familiarity with AI content tools, content management systems, and marketing technology platforms
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
Ability to balance competing priorities and meet aggressive timelines
Open to occasional travel
