Independent Contractor | Project-Based
Compensation: $20 per hour

Luna Beach Interiors is seeking an independent contractor to provide hands-on installation and styling support for model home projects in the Gulf Coast area.

This is a flexible, project-based opportunity that may be a great fit for someone with an interest in interior design, home styling, staging, or related creative work who can't work full time.

Services May Include

Depending on the project, contracted services may include:

Unpacking and organizing accessories and décor
Placement and styling of accessories
Artwork placement
Assisting with final staging and presentation of model homes
Steaming fabrics
Other hands-on installation services associated with staging a model home

Project Availability

Installation projects are offered as needed, with many projects currently occurring on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Project days may vary based on client and installation schedules.

Contractors will be provided with the date, anticipated timeframe, location, and scope of each project and may accept or decline individual projects based on their availability. No minimum number of projects or hours is guaranteed or expected.

While hours vary based on project needs, contractors providing this type of support have historically averaged approximately 20 hours per week during active installation periods. This is provided as an estimate only and is not a guarantee of weekly hours or future projects.

Some projects may begin before normal business hours or extend later in the day depending on the scope and location of the installation.

Transportation from our Canal Road location to the model home project site is available.

What We're Looking For

We are interested in working with someone who:

Is dependable and professional when accepting a project
Has an eye for detail and enjoys creating beautiful spaces
Is comfortable with the physical aspects of installation work, including unpacking, carrying, reaching
Can work independently while coordinating with lead designers and other professionals at the project site
Has an interest in interior design, styling, staging, or home furnishings

Prior professional interior design experience is not required but preferred.

A Great Opportunity to Gain Design Experience

For someone interested in the interior design industry, this is an opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to model home installations, accessorizing, styling, artwork placement, and the final stages of bringing a professionally designed space together.

Compensation: $20 per hour for contracted installation services.

This is an independent contractor opportunity, not an employment position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and will receive a Form 1099 as applicable.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
