About The Job

Fortis Institute is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our faculty as an Instructor for our Medical Assisting program. If you possess a desire to help others succeed, this is an opportunity for you to positively impact the lives and careers of our students and graduates.

Requirements:

Completion of a Medical Assisting program resulting in a certificate of completion or a diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
CMA, RMA, and/or CCMA certification
Excellent skills in interpersonal and verbal presentation/written communications.
Minimum of 3 years of industry experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting, patient-facing.
Prior postsecondary-related teaching experience is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
