Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Head Chef/Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. This dynamic role combines creative culinary leadership with strategic management, ensuring exceptional food quality, outstanding service, and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for fine dining, extensive food industry experience, and proven leadership skills to inspire a team dedicated to excellence. As the Head Chef/Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, managing inventory and costs, and fostering a vibrant hospitality environment that delights our guests.

Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and catering teams, ensuring smooth shift operations and high team morale
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency in every dish served
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective cost control measures
Implement food safety protocols and sanitizing procedures in compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment
Monitor kitchen operations for efficiency, including shift management, staffing levels, and workflow optimization to maximize productivity
Collaborate with the restaurant management team to uphold service standards and enhance overall guest satisfaction

Skills

Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments and catering services
Proven supervisory experience managing kitchen teams within a fast-paced hospitality setting
Deep knowledge of food production processes, menu planning, and food handling best practices
Expertise in inventory management, cost control, and food safety sanitizing procedures
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
Experience in managing dietary departments and accommodating special dietary needs effectively
Excellent organizational skills for overseeing food service management, shift scheduling, and kitchen operations
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation in accordance with health regulations
Passion for culinary innovation combined with strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly across departments
