Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced part-time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting software experience, with a preference for experience with NetSuite ERP. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and providing timely reports to management.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using NetSuite ERP accounting software
Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
Prepare financial reports in accordance with GAAP standards, including income statements and cash flow statements
Conduct bank reconciliations and payroll processing to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to support organizational financial goals
Provide tax support for corporate entities as needed
Collaborate with external accountants in tax planning and tax return preparation
Analyze accounts for discrepancies and resolve any issues that arise in a timely manner

Skills

Proficiency in NetSuite ERP accounting software or ability to quickly learn NetSuite ERP
Strong understanding of financial or managerial accounting
Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial concepts essential for accurate reporting
Experience with double entry bookkeeping and technical accounting practices
Ability to perform account analysis, budgeting, and financial report writing effectively
Strong skills in debits & credits management along with journal entries processing
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
