Practice California Workers' Compensation Law Without Burning Out!

Exceptional legal work starts with attorneys who have the time and support to do their best work. We're seeking a California-licensed Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join our growing practice - an individual who believes attorney success is built on manageable workloads, reasonable expectations, and a collaborative culture. Rather than measuring success by volume alone, RKG Law focuses on delivering consistently outstanding client service through thoughtful advocacy and strategic case management.

What You'll Do:

Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators.
Appear before the California Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) for hearings, conferences and trials.
Take and defend applicant and physician depositions.
Develop litigation strategies, evaluate exposure, and negotiate favorable resolutions.
Draft pleadings, motions, petitions, and legal correspondence.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients through proactive communication and practical legal guidance.

What We're Looking For:

Active membership in the California State Bar.
Experience practicing California workers' compensation law (defense experience preferred but not required).
Strong litigation, writing, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
Ability to independently manage a caseload while working collaboratively with a supportive team.
