Full Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, claims support, and general account servicing while identifying opportunities to offer additional insurance products when appropriate. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys helping people and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls and assist clients with policy servicing and account inquiries.
Process policy changes, payments, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
Provide accurate information regarding insurance products and coverages.
Follow up with clients to ensure timely resolution of questions or concerns.
Build and maintain positive relationships through exceptional customer service.
Document all customer interactions in the agency management system.
Assist producers by scheduling appointments and following up on leads.
Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer clients to licensed sales agents.
Maintain compliance with agency procedures and carrier guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience (insurance experience preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills.
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computers and CRM or agency management software.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Texas Property & Casualty License
