Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our growing specialty practice focused on evidence-based treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, and related conditions.
This is a W-2 hourly employee position, not an independent contractor/1099 position. The role combines direct clinical work with opportunities to provide clinical supervision and consultation.
The position is primarily remote, allowing you to provide specialized psychological services through telehealth. Psychologists located near Scottsdale, Arizona may also have the option to provide in-person services.
As a member of our clinical team, you will conduct clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based psychotherapy, and contribute to the clinical development of other clinicians through supervision and consultation.
Most importantly, this position is designed to allow you to focus on being a psychologist.
We handle credentialing, billing, collections, advertising, client acquisition, scheduling, and practice administration. You focus on providing excellent clinical care, supervision, and continuing to develop your expertise as an OCD and anxiety specialist.
Compensation
This position is structured as W-2 hourly employment.
Clinical compensation for completed Arizona client sessions is:
$105–$110 per completed clinical hour
Placement within the range is based on experience, specialized training, qualifications, and other applicable factors.
Clinicians are expected to maintain a minimum of approximately 20 completed clinical hours per week.
Future Nebraska Licensure & Increased Earning Potential
As the position develops, we would like this psychologist to become individually licensed in Nebraska and begin serving clients through our affiliated Nebraska practice.
Nebraska licensure is NOT required at the time of application.
We will pay the costs associated with obtaining the required individual Nebraska psychologist license.
Once appropriately licensed and providing services through our Nebraska practice, clinical services for Nebraska clients are currently compensated at:
$130–$150 per completed Nebraska clinical hour
This provides an opportunity to gradually develop a combined Arizona and Nebraska caseload with increased earning potential.
Estimated Annual Arizona Clinical Compensation
The examples below are based on an Arizona caseload at $105–$110 per completed clinical hour and 48 clinical weeks per year:

These figures are estimates intended to illustrate potential clinical compensation and are not guaranteed annual earnings. Earnings will be higher once Nebraska Licensure is acquired. Actual compensation will vary based on completed clinical hours, applicable compensation rate, caseload, cancellations, PTO, and other applicable factors.
Earning potential may increase after Nebraska licensure is obtained and Nebraska clients are added to the clinician's caseload.
Clinical Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide individual psychotherapy primarily through secure telehealth
- Provide evidence-based treatment utilizing approaches such as ERP, ACT, I-CBT, CBT, and related interventions
- Monitor treatment progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and, when clinically appropriate, family members or other supports
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals when clinically indicated
- Assess and appropriately respond to clinical risk and crisis situations
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential clinical documentation
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements, professional ethics, and applicable licensing requirements
- Participate in clinical consultation and professional development
Supervision & Clinical Leadership
An important component of this position is the opportunity to contribute to the clinical development of our team.
Depending on experience and qualifications, responsibilities may include:
- Providing clinical supervision to other clinicians
- Providing case consultation related to OCD and anxiety treatment
- Supporting clinicians in developing competency in evidence-based treatment
- Helping maintain high standards of clinical care across the practice
- Participating in collaborative case consultation and clinical meetings
- Contributing to the continued development of our OCD and anxiety specialty services

We value thoughtful, individualized treatment rather than a one-size-fits-all approach and utilize interventions including:
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
ERP is a cornerstone of evidence-based OCD treatment and an important component of our clinical approach.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT principles may be incorporated to help clients develop psychological flexibility, change their relationship with difficult internal experiences, and engage in meaningful, values-based action.
Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT)
We also value I-CBT as an evidence-based approach to OCD treatment and are interested in clinicians who have experience with—or want to continue developing expertise in—this model.
We are interested in psychologists who already have experience with these approaches as well as strong clinicians who want to continue developing advanced expertise in OCD and anxiety treatment.
Candidates do not need to be experts in every treatment modality listed above.

Schedule & Flexibility
We value clinician autonomy and offer significant flexibility in how you structure your schedule.
Psychologists are expected to maintain a minimum of approximately 20 clinical hours per week.
Because evening appointments are important to many of our clients, we ask that the psychologist be willing to offer a few evening appointment hours each week.
Outside of those expectations, clinicians have substantial flexibility in designing their schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current individual psychologist license in Arizona
- Arizona psychologist license in good standing
- Experience providing psychotherapy and clinical assessment
- Strong interest in treating OCD, anxiety disorders, and related conditions
- Commitment to evidence-based psychological treatment
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to independently manage a clinical caseload
- Comfort providing psychological services through telehealth
- Ability to maintain approximately 20 or more clinical hours per week
- Willingness to offer several evening appointment hours each week
- Willingness to pursue individual Nebraska psychologist licensure in the future, with licensure costs paid by the practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience treating OCD and anxiety disorders
- Training or experience in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
- Training or experience in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Training or experience in Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT)
- Experience providing clinical supervision
- Experience working in an outpatient or specialty mental health practice
