Forks & Boards isn't your average restaurant.

We're a chef-driven, scratch kitchen located inside Gamers Guild, Arizona's premier tabletop gaming destination. Every day we serve handcrafted burgers, sandwiches, house-made sauces, fresh-prepped ingredients, seasonal limited-time menus, themed movie nights, private catering events, and hundreds of gamers looking for an experience that's as memorable as the food.

We're looking for an experienced Line Cook who thrives under pressure, takes pride in quality, and enjoys working with a team that's constantly creating something new.

What You'll Do

As a Line Cook, you'll be expected to execute every plate with consistency, speed, and attention to detail while working alongside a close-knit culinary team.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes.
Work multiple stations including Grill, Flat Top, Fry, Sauté, Expo, and Pantry.
Execute scratch-made recipes, sauces, dressings, and daily prep.
Maintain quality and consistency during high-volume lunch, dinner, catering, and event services.
Prepare ingredients including vegetables, proteins, sauces, and house-made components.
Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and temperature controls.
Keep stations stocked, organized, and service-ready.
Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to ensure smooth ticket flow.
Assist with catering production, seasonal menu launches, and special events.
Help maintain the high standards that make Forks & Boards stand apart.

What We're Looking For

We're searching for cooks who take pride in their craft—not someone looking to simply clock in and out.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of Line Cook experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
Experience working multiple stations during busy services
Strong knife skills and understanding of kitchen fundamentals
Experience with scratch cooking and recipe execution
Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and with urgency
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout a shift
Current Arizona Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain before hire)

Bonus Points If You Have

Catering or banquet experience
Experience with seasonal or rotating menus
Knowledge of gluten-free food handling
Experience using Rational ovens or commercial kitchen equipment
A passion for board games, tabletop RPGs, or gaming culture
