This is a real clinical experience. Not coffee runs.
You will work directly with youth, adolescents, and families. You will run groups. You will sit with hard moments and celebrate real progress. If you want to build a clinical foundation that actually prepares you for licensure, this is the place.
We are not just a practicum site. We are a full clinical training environment. Whether you are completing your practicum, your first internship placement, or your second placement, we have a space for you. You do not need to find a new site every semester. We take you through the journey.
WHO WE ARE
Living and Balance Wellness Center is a behavioral health organization founded in 2021, serving individuals ages 6 to 99, including children, adolescents, transition-age youth, adults, and families. We accept commercial insurance, Medicaid, and self-pay. Our offices are in Phoenix and Mesa, and we serve the greater Phoenix metro area including Glendale in offices, schools, homes, and the community. We are a designated Center of Excellence for Transition-Age Youth.
Our interns are not observers. They are part of the care team. They leave here more prepared than most graduates.
OUR MESA LOCATION IS ACTIVELY ACCEPTING STUDENTS RIGHT NOW
Our Mesa office at 736 N Country Club Dr is brand new and fully available. If you are based in Mesa or the East Valley, this is your opportunity. Phoenix placements are available as well.
