Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The candidate should possess a strong foundation in personal injury, for both pre-litigation and litigation files with at least 5 years of experience. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a commitment to providing exceptional administrative support within a fast-paced law office environment.

Responsibilities

Provide executive administrative support to attorney and other legal staff.
Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, including pleadings.
Manage case files and maintain document management systems for efficient retrieval.
Perform document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate client interviews and maintain effective communication with clients.
Assist with project management tasks related to ongoing cases or legal matters.
Maintain organized filing systems for both electronic and physical documents.
Handle data entry tasks accurately while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.

Skills

Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
Familiarity with personal injury law.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail for managing multiple priorities effectively.
Strong clerical experience including data entry, filing, transcription, and phone etiquette.
Ability to conduct thorough interviews with clients while maintaining professionalism.
Demonstrated project management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Knowledge of legal case management processes and procedures.
