Hearing Instrument Specialist
Salary: Can be well over $100K for full time + commission
Kenwood Hearing Centers is an independent, family-owned hearing healthcare practice that has been serving Northern California since 1959. The practice has been owned and operated by the same family since 1981, and we're proud to have remained independent while continuing to grow. Today we have seven locations throughout the North Bay and East Bay, with an expanding presence in Fairfield and exciting plans to grow into the Davis area.

Primary duties
- Establish rapport and gather history from patients, conduct audiometric testing, and make recommendations for hearing aids
- Provide counseling and care which delights the patients
- Make ear impressions and ear molds, order instruments
- Program hearing aids using a computer
- Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems
- Dispense accessories including batteries, special products, ALD'S, or any other product available through practice
- Report patient test results to originating referral source or appropriate staff member for tracking and documentation
- Maintain all clinical records and charts as specified by practice management
- Support clinic operations by conducting quality control analysis of incoming hearing aids and maintenance of test areas, equipment and supplies
- Achieve the clinical operational variables and the monthly and annual goals
- Maintain documentation and patient files

- Must be able to problem solve and manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic independently
Education / Experience
Required:
- High School Diploma
- California-Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist
- 1+ years of hearing aid dispensing experience
