Director of Clinical Services (LPC/LCSW): $85-100k/yr + up to $10k in benefits

Scope of Work:

The Director of Clinical Services provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for Persad Center's clinical programs and services. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality, client-centered care; supervising clinical leadership and staff; maintaining regulatory compliance; supporting program growth and development; and advancing the organization's mission and strategic goals.

The Director of Clinical Services serves as a member of the leadership team and works collaboratively with clinical, medical, operational, and administrative departments to ensure effective service delivery and positive client outcomes.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Supervision

Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to clinical supervisors and program leaders.
Support staff development, performance management, and professional growth.
Promote evidence-based practices and high standards of clinical care.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention of clinical staff.
Maintain a caseload of 10-15 billable hours per week

Program Oversight and Development

Oversee the implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of clinical programs and services.
Identify opportunities for new services, program expansion, and community partnerships.
Ensure programs are responsive to client needs and aligned with organizational goals.
Monitor program outcomes and implement improvements as needed.

Quality and Compliance

Ensure compliance with applicable licensing, accreditation, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Oversee quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
Monitor clinical documentation, service quality, and program effectiveness.
Respond to and address client concerns, grievances, and clinical risk management issues.

Operation and Financial Management

Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Responsible for productivity, program performance, and service utilization.
Support revenue cycle processes to ensure services are appropriately documented and billed.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and operational workflows that support effective service delivery.

Community and Organizational Leadership

Represent Persad Center with community partners, referral sources, contractors, and professional organizations.
Foster collaborative relationships that support client access and program growth.
Participate in leadership meetings and organizational decision-making.
Support agency-wide initiatives and strategic priorities.

Qualifications:

LPC or LCSW Licensure Required.

A Master’s degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency,
psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services field) or other related field.
Minimum 2 years of counseling/clinical experience and 5+ years of Supervisor/Director experience
Experience in providing treatment specific to the LGBTQ+ community.
An understanding of WPATH (World Professional Association of Transgender Health) standards of care for transgender as well as non-binary individuals.
Familiarity with EHR systems; knowledge of Qualifacts/InSync a plus
Appropriate FBI, PA Act 33/34 fingerprint clearances and CPSL Child Abuse Training
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
