Work Schedule:

Primarily daylight hours, Monday through Friday!
Flexibility with start and end times requested for staff support.

The Magee MRI Department specializes in women’s MRI imaging, offering access to a state-of-the-art Siemens Vida 3T MRI scanner, which has significantly enhanced our imaging quality, reduced scan times, and improved overall patient comfort! Our advanced diagnostic capabilities are tailored to the unique needs of our patient population, and our team is passionate about advancing women’s health through cutting-edge imaging technology.

Now is an exciting time to join our expanding Imaging team at Magee, with the MRI Department supported by a multidisciplinary team of dedicated healthcare professionals! The Supervisor of MRI Imaging Services will ensure efficient workflow and operations, supervise staff and staffing levels, and provide exceptional communication to both staff and other members of management.

Responsibilities:

Ensures staff members are prepared and properly supported.
Maintains a patient-focused environment.
Ensures efficient workflow, staffing levels, and delegation of responsibilities.
Assists in departmental policy decisions, hiring activities, budgeting, and safety standards enforcement.
Maintains records for staff, has crucial conversations with staff when needed, and communications and enforces policies and procedures to staff.
Remains current on developments in the field of Imaging and attends training sessions to maintain knowledge, as necessary.
Ensures that quality control tests and procedures are conducted and documented, and that all equipment meets regulatory requirements.

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
- Accredited ARRT, ARDMS, ARMRIT, or NMTCB program.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
4 years of Imaging experience required.
4 years of MRI experience highly preferred.
Previous leadership and/or supervisory experience preferred.
Effective analytical ability and interpersonal skills.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
