Job Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as at the front desk, where your energetic and customer-focused approach will ensure seamless guest experiences during busy hours. In this vital role, you will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle reservations, and oversee nightly financial reconciliations. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth operation of our hotel while providing exceptional service to our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine hospitality management skills with night-shift flexibility, creating memorable stays for our visitors.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using property management systems such as choiceadvantage or similar platforms
Respond promptly to guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems, providing accurate information and resolving issues with professionalism and friendliness
Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications through hospitality reservation systems, ensuring all guest preferences are accurately recorded
Conduct nightly financial audits, including balancing accounts, verifying transactions, and preparing reports to ensure accuracy of daily revenue
Handle guest requests and complaints with a positive attitude, utilizing strong customer service problem-solving skills to enhance guest satisfaction
Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting property inspections, and following hotel emergency procedures when necessary
Document all shift activities thoroughly in shift reports and incident logs to ensure clear communication between team members

Requirements

Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel environment.
Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as Choiceadvantage or equivalent hotel management software
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and client communication strategies
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations
Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond swiftly in critical situations
Ability to work independently during shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest relations in a fast-paced environment
Shift starts from 11am-7pm (Saturday and Sunday)
