Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
No weekends No major holidaysIndependent, non-retail pharmacy environmentHands-on compounding & patient-focused care

Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, friendly, and reliable Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our independent community pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking to step away from high-volume retail settings and work in a calmer, patient-focused environment with consistent hours and growth opportunities.

As a local community pharmacy, we pride ourselves on providing personalized service and exceptional care. This role involves assisting patients in person and over the phone, supporting pharmacy operations, performing non-sterile compounding, and preparing compliance packaging.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and greet all patients and visitors
Manage and maintain front-end pharmacy operations
Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls, and take messages
Assist patients with prescription and product-related questions
Accurately enter and maintain patient information in the pharmacy system
Receive payments, package orders, and process refills
Assist with typing prescriptions
Support outreach efforts to local healthcare providers
Manage inventory in the non-hazardous compounding room
Perform non-hazardous compounding
Assist with compliance packaging (bubble packs)

Skills & Qualifications

Excellent computer and typing skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to perform non-sterile compounding tasks

Job Requirements

Active California Certified Pharmacy Technician License (required)
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Professional references will be requested during the interview process

Schedule & Work Environment

Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
No weekends or major holidays
Full-time position: 40 hours per week
Work location: In person (Roseville, CA 95661)
