Full Job Description

Mosaic Distillery is dedicated to bringing a unique sharable guest experience centered around hospitality and culinary creativity in our upscale tasting room (restaurant) and Spirit Garden Bar and dining space. We are looking for a line cook/grill cook who is passionate about the culinary industry and guest satisfaction.

Schedule:

We are currently open for service Wednesday through Saturday 4:00pm to 10:00pm

We are hiring for shifts to cover a planned expansion of service hours including Tuesday through Sunday - 3:00 pm to 11:pm (varies)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and independent line/Grille cook to service our outdoor Grille kitchen. You must be comfortable working outside, and interacting with guests. You will be responsible for prep, set up /break down, and maintaining the grill station with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization. You will be working as a team with a pizza cook, and will be cross trained on the pizza station as a secondary skillset. Good communication and collaboration skills are a must. The ideal candidate will have a passion for local, high quality food, a willingness to learn new skills, a positive and friendly demeanor and value the customer experience.

*Pizza Oven experience a plus

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure all food handling and preparation meets health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Collaborate with other kitchen and front of house staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
Adhere to all food safety protocols, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Interact with guests in a professional and welcoming manner

Requirements

Grill experience
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food service industry.
Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high quality standards.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
A passion for culinary arts with an eagerness to learn new skills and work with seasonal products with an ever changing menu.
