Full Job Description

Overview

NDT-Solutions, Inc., is an FAA/EASA Part 145 Repair Station. NDT-Solutions support a wide range of rotary and fixed wing components. NDT-Solutions is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and the ability to operate various types of machinery. This role is essential in ensuring that our production meets the highest standards of quality and precision.

Duties

Set up and operation of lathe machines, milling machines, and other machining equipment.
Interpret technical drawings, repair schemes, blueprints to determine machining requirements.
Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling to ensure optimal performance.
Lift workpieces to machines manually, or with hoists or cranes. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in tooling and setup.
Experience with Grinding / Machining of Landing Gears preferred.
Ability to operate milling machines and other hand tools effectively.
Experience with precision measuring instruments for quality assurance.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
