Job Overview:

We are seeking a full-time experienced Tax Staff Accountant. In this position, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional accounting services to our diverse clients, leveraging your analytical skills and attention to detail. We are also open to considering seasonal candidates for the busy season (January-April).

Duties:

Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, partnerships, non-profits, and trusts.
Communicate directly with clients to advise on tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize financial outcomes
Collaborate with partners, managers, and staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client services
Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations and adherence to filing deadlines

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA Designation or actively pursuing is a plus but not required
Minimum two years’ experience in public accounting
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid knowledge of tax concepts
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with CCH Axcess or CCH Products is a plus
