Full Job Description

We are seeking a professional, service-oriented individual to join our team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. In this role, you will help create memorable guest experiences by delivering attentive, efficient, and high-quality banquet service during events of varying sizes and styles. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a welcoming and polished atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service stations.
Provide prompt and courteous food and beverage service during banquets, receptions, meetings, and special events.
Communicate effectively with event coordinators, supervisors, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure smooth event execution.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event space before, during, and after service.
Anticipate guest needs and respond professionally to requests or concerns.
Clear tables, reset rooms, and assist with post-event breakdown and cleanup.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines as applicable.
Support a positive team environment and contribute to the overall success of each event.

Qualifications

Previous experience in banquet, restaurant, catering, or hospitality service preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying event schedules.
Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and remain active for extended periods of time.
Attention to detail and a professional appearance and demeanor.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards is a plus.
