Full Job Description

A financial services organization is seeking a Social Media Community Manager for a great Remote opportunity with their team. This role focuses on night and weekend community management across social media channels, including social care, brand engagement, campaign support, and risk mitigation.

About the Opportunity:

Shift: Nights (and some mornings)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
Hours: 7pm to 10pm (Mon to Fri); 8am to 10am & 8pm to 10pm (weekends with a few required daytime meetings; some holidays expected)
Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain social media channels with a focus on community engagement and social care
Support brand engagement and campaign-related social activity across owned social platforms
Monitor social conversations for trends, issues, and risks, escalating concerns when appropriate
Collaborate with business partners and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Prioritize tasks, manage tactical projects independently, and respond efficiently under pressure
Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

1-3 years of professional experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Social Media, or Customer Care
High School Diploma / GED
Experience managing tactical projects and meeting tight deadlines
In-depth social media experience, including the ability to recognize issues, assess risks, and escalate concerns appropriately
Experience identifying trends and key themes in social conversation
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently with self-initiative

Desired Skills:

Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related field
Social media listening experience
Sprinklr experience
Knowledge of financial services or the automotive industry
Experience with Zoom and Microsoft Outlook
