Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Surgical Scrub Technician to join our growing outpatient vascular and interventional radiology practice. The ideal candidate will have previous experience assisting with minimally invasive vascular and interventional procedures in a fast-paced procedural suite.

Vascular and Interventional Radiology experience is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain a sterile field for all procedures.
Scrub and assist physicians during vascular and interventional radiology procedures.
Anticipate the needs of the physician throughout procedures.
Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Assist with patient positioning and procedural room setup and turnover.
Maintain compliance with infection control and sterile technique standards.
Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies.
Ensure all equipment is functioning properly prior to procedures.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and anesthesia providers to provide exceptional patient care.
Participate in maintaining accreditation and procedural suite standards.

Qualifications

Surgical Scrub Technician certification preferred, but not required.

Minimum of 1 years of scrub experience in Vascular Surgery and/or Interventional Radiology required.

Experience with:

Peripheral angiograms
Atherectomy procedures
Venous ablations
Embolization procedures
Ultrasound-guided vascular access
Catheters, guidewires, balloons, and vascular closure devices
Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume outpatient procedural setting.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently when needed.
Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
