Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapy Technician, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly enhance patient recovery and well-being. In this vital role, you will support licensed physical therapists and physcial therapy assistance by preparing treatment areas, assisting with patient care, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Your proactive approach and compassionate attitude will help create a positive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to learn on the job in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment committed to excellence.

Duties

Assist physical therapists and physical therapist assistance with patient intake, setup, and preparation for therapy sessions
Support patient care by helping with mobility, positioning, and exercises under supervision
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment activities in compliance with healthcare protocols
Demonstrate and explain exercises
Prepare treatment areas by organizing equipment and ensuring cleanliness to promote safety and efficiency
Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions and report any concerns or adverse reactions promptly
Facilitate communication between patients and therapists to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures
Help manage inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for therapy sessions

Qualifications

Demonstrated commitment to patient service and compassionate care delivery
Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude.
Able to learn quickly with on the job training
