Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. You will be the backbone of our food service operation, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This energetic position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting, supporting chefs and food service staff by managing cleanliness standards and adhering to food safety protocols. Responsibilities

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools
Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
Assist with basic food preparation tasks and bussing tables when needed to support overall restaurant operations
Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of large pots, trays, or bulk supplies safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
Support kitchen staff by organizing clean dishes and assisting with light food handling duties during busy periods
Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to create a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitation procedures is advantageous
Basic knife skills or culinary experience can be beneficial for supporting any potential food prep tasks
Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and general hospitality standards is a plus
Strong attention to detail in maintaining sanitation standards and adhering to health regulations
