Full Job Description

Overview

Join our dynamic Human Resources team as a Human Resources Generalist and become a vital driver of our organizational success! In this energetic role, you will lead comprehensive HR functions, fostering a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Your strategic mindset and proactive approach will empower our workforce, support talent development, and streamline HR processes across the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by aligning human capital strategies with business goals, all while championing employee engagement and organizational growth.

Duties

Support the onboarding process for new hires and conduct exit interviews.
Managing employee files and maintaining compliance with HR policies.
Administer benefits programs, including open enrollment, benefits administration, and supporting employees with inquiries related to benefits.
Compliance with benefits regulations and reporting.
Employee communication and benefits support.
Coordinating employee benefits enrollment and payroll deductions.
Experience utilizing Employee Navigator to manage employee benefit data.
Participating in talent acquisition efforts and identifying qualified candidates.
Assist with training initiatives.
Assist with facilitating conflict resolution and addressing concerns related to the work environment.
Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards, FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation policies, and HR legal requirements through meticulous data collection and documentation.

Qualifications

Proven experience in human resources with a strong understanding of employment law in talent management.
Demonstrated expertise in recruiting strategies using platforms like Hireology; familiarity with social media management for employer branding is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully while maintaining confidentiality.
Proficiency in excel and data collection and analysis.
Advanced knowledge of benefits administration including open enrollment, benefits enrollment and eligibility management, and payroll deductions related to benefits.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in administrative tasks.
Certifications in HR (such as PHR or SHRM-CP) are advantageous.
