Logistics Manager

Location: Eastern Tea – Monroe, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000per year, plus comprehensive benefits

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Logistics Manager to oversee the efficient movement of products throughout our supply chain. This individual will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound transportation, inventory coordination, warehouse operations, freight management, and customer delivery performance. The ideal candidate has experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, service, and cost control are essential.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage all inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely and cost-effective product movement.

· Coordinate shipments with carriers, freight brokers, warehouses, and customers.

· Monitor inventory flow between manufacturing facilities, third-party warehouses, and customer distribution centers.

· Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers while negotiating competitive freight rates and service agreements.

· Analyze transportation costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.

· Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, shipping documentation, and company policies.

· Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Production, and Finance to ensure accurate order fulfillment and delivery schedules.

· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including on-time delivery, freight costs, inventory accuracy, and warehouse performance.

· Resolve shipping delays, transportation issues, and customer delivery concerns quickly and professionally.

· Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and warehouse partners.

· Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain performance.

· Prepare logistics reports and provide recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

· Minimum of 3–5 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain management experience, preferably within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

· Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, freight transportation, and distribution.

· Experience working with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Excel.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong communication and leadership abilities.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

· Knowledge of freight auditing, carrier management, and transportation regulations is preferred.

Preferred Experience

· Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) manufacturing and distribution

· Food, beverage, coffee, tea, or related consumer products

· Third-party logistics (3PL) management

· E-commerce and retail distribution

· Continuous improvement or Lean supply chain practices

Compensation & Benefits

· Annual salary of $75,000 - $90,000
