We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Removable Technician to join our team at Langhorne, PA. As a Removable Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication, adjustment, and repair of removable dental prosthetics.
Responsibilities:
Fabricate complete dentures, partial dentures, and removable dental appliances according to dental prescriptions and specifications
Utilize dental impressions, models, and digital scans to create accurate and comfortable removable prosthetics
Design and customize denture frameworks, clasps, and other components for optimal fit and functionality
Perform denture teeth set-up and denture processing using appropriate techniques and materials
Conduct denture repairs, relines, and adjustments based on patient needs
Collaborate closely with dentists, prosthodontists, and other team members to ensure patient satisfaction and quality outcomes
Maintain accurate records of cases, materials used, and lab activities
Stay updated with industry advancements, new materials, and techniques related to removable prosthetics
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in accordance with industry regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Dental Removable Technician
In-depth knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and removable prosthetics principles
Proficiency in the fabrication and adjustment of complete dentures, partial dentures, and removable dental appliances
Familiarity with dental materials, alloys, and acrylics used in removable prosthetics
Experience in denture repairs, relines, and adjustments
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to produce high-quality work
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Education and Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Completion of an accredited dental laboratory technology program (preferred)
Certification as a Dental Technician (CDT) (preferred)
