Overview:

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers' Downeast Ellsworth, a locally owned Physical Therapy clinic, opening in March 2026. Bill and Karen Beane chose to launch a FYZICAL franchise to bring a comprehensive wellness option to Bangor initially with plans to expand to rural parts of Eastern Maine. FYZICAL's research-based model provides patients with access to advanced tools, equipment, and programs for optimal recovery while maintaining a personalized, local clinic atmosphere.

As a therapist with FYZICAL, you'll receive top-notch continuing education and training in our hallmark programs focused on balance, pelvic health, and neurological disorders. FYZICAL boasts some of the industry's leading clinicians dedicated to researching and implementing best practices.

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in our Ellsworth clinic.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and track their progress throughout the therapy process.
- Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and techniques to improve patients' mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
- Educate patients and their families on exercises, stretches, and techniques to continue their treatment at home.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications:

- Master's or Doctorate level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid and unencumbered state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and patient care practices.
- Experience in Pediatrics, Geriatrics and Orthopedic Rehabilitation is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
