Live Broadcast Moderator / OBS Operator : Live Streaming Production Support (On-Site)
CENYA INC. – Carrollton, TX
$15–$35 per hour (Based on Experience)
Real Live Broadcasting. Real Audiences.
We are seeking a dependable, technically capable Live Broadcast Moderator / OBS Operator to support our weekly live productions.
*Our broadcasts are HSN-style livestreams featuring internationally recognized brands and products.*
Our small team streams to a simulcast to multiple countries and can attract large audiences within minutes of going live every single time we GO live.
There are no retakes. When we are live, we are LIVE.
We are looking for someone who can learn quickly, has enough brains to troubleshoot problems when needed instead of standing there frozen and confused, and simply help us deliver professional broadcasts in real time. ( It really isn't that hard for the right person who can pay attention at the most basic levels here..)
Although our production team is lean, we have been working with major clients and growing broadcast volume. Which means the better we do as a small team the bigger the reward in a faster time. That's how its been for us since we got into this. We simply need the help because a stream has a host and we need someone to help in the background, operating the stream/ ai camera.
What You'll Be Doing : Live Broadcast Operations
- Independently operating OBS Studio during live broadcasts
- Managing scenes, transitions, overlays, graphics, videos, and media assets ( i will train you on whatever you don't know. But please, don't be entirely clueless forever- that's a choice.)
- You'll be Monitoring stream quality and responding to technical issues in real time ( Hardly happens and shouldn't happen, but always be ready that's all. )
- You will also be -Supporting live product demonstrations and promotional segments- ( Its fine, you'll be off camera, its more about pinning the product on the live stream or responding to the chat)
Live Chat Moderation
- Moderating active livestream chat
- Interacting with viewers professionally
- Answering common product questions
- Escalating important comments and opportunities to the host
- Helping maintain audience engagement throughout the broadcast
Production Support ( When you come in for set up of the studio)
- Assisting with lighting setup and adjustments - ( its all basic plug in and unplug for set up or go home)
- Assisting with camera setup and operation - ( Basic stuff, you'll see)
- Assisting with audio setup and troubleshooting- ( rare issue that probably wont occur)
- Setting up and breaking down production equipment - ( We are now in a new studio where staging isnt frequent now, but will be done on occasion to change up the set for different broadcast themes)
- Working closely with hosts and production staff during live broadcasts
Problem Solving
- Troubleshooting technical issues while live
- Remaining composed under pressure
- Quickly adapting to changing production needs
- Following established production procedures while maintaining flexibility
