Kendall Cleaning Service LLC is growing, and we are looking for TWO dependable, hardworking individuals to join our residential cleaning team!
We are looking for people who take pride in their work, pay attention to the details, communicate well, and want the opportunity to grow with a company.
IMPORTANT: 1099 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position, not a W-2 employee position.
Applicants should understand that they will be working as an independent contractor and will be responsible for their own taxes and tax obligations associated with 1099 income.

TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE 1. Experienced Cleaner — Per Diem
- Previous professional residential cleaning experience required.
- Per diem position based on business needs and availability.
- Must be dependable and able to maintain our cleaning standards.
- Experienced cleaners who are interested in growing into a Team Lead role are encouraged to apply.
2. Residential Cleaning Technician
- Professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- We are willing to train the right person.
- This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn professional residential cleaning and grow with our company.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, honesty, and attention to detail are more important than having years of cleaning experience.
PAY & EARNING POTENTIAL
- Training starts at $17/hour.
- After training, new technicians start at $120 per day for up to 3 cleaning jobs.
- Once fully trained and consistently meeting our cleaning standards, the starting daily rate increases to $135 per day for up to 4 cleaning jobs.
- These are starting rates. Opportunities for increased pay and bonuses are available.
- Bonuses may be available after 6 months based on performance and company criteria.
- After training, this is a flat daily-rate structure, not an hourly position.
- Technicians typically work approximately 8:30 AM–1:00 PM, although availability from 8:30 AM–3:30 PM is required.
- Most days are completed around 1:00–2:00 PM, depending on the day's schedule.
- Customer tips are paid in addition to your base pay.
- With our flat-rate structure and tips, average earning potential is approximately $20–$30+ per hour, depending on the day's schedule, efficiency, experience, and tips.
- All cleaning supplies and equipment are provided.
- Opportunities are available for increased pay as you gain experience and take on additional responsibilities.
GROW INTO A TEAM LEAD
We are looking for individuals who want more than just a cleaning position.
For the right person, there is an opportunity to grow into a Team Lead position with higher pay.
Team Leads will take on additional responsibilities and must demonstrate strong cleaning skills, reliability, communication, leadership, time management, and the ability to consistently maintain our company standards.
TRAINING & TEAMWORK
You will NOT be expected to work independently when you first start.
New technicians will train and work alongside an experienced team member while learning:
- Our cleaning standards
- Cleaning checklists
- Products and equipment
- How to properly clean different types of homes
- Time management
- Customer service
- Communication with clients and team members
- How to identify and pay attention to the small details
You will continue working with a teammate while you are learning.
You will only begin working independently after you have demonstrated that you are ready and able to consistently meet our standards.
We want our cleaners to feel confident and properly trained before working independently.
SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY
- Monday–Friday availability
- Cleaning schedules vary based on client bookings and business needs.
- Typical workdays may include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
- 8:30 AM–3:30 PM availability is required.
- Most days are typically completed around 1:00–2:00 PM.
- Technicians should be prepared for a schedule of up to 3-4 cleaning jobs per day with a team mate.
- Per diem contractors will have a more flexible schedule based on business needs and availability. (1) job per day or may need as a fill in with a team mate.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are extremely important.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must:
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have a reliable vehicle.
- Have valid automobile insurance.
- Be able to travel to multiple residential cleaning locations during the workday.
- Be willing to complete a background check.
- Provide professional references.
- Provide previous employment/work history.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be dependable and punctual.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Understand and agree to the 1099 Independent Contractor structure.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Residential cleaning is physical labor. This position is not suitable for someone looking for a desk job or light-duty work.
You must be able to:
- Lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Bend, reach, stretch, squat, and crouch.
- Kneel and work on your hands and knees when necessary.
- Get down low to clean floors, baseboards, corners, bathrooms, and other areas.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently climb stairs.
- Perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
- Have good vision and be able to notice small details.
- Work at a steady pace while maintaining quality.
- Safely handle cleaning products and equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Residential Cleaning Technician, you will:
- Clean residential homes according to Kendall Cleaning Service standards.
- Follow detailed cleaning checklists and instructions.
- Pay close attention to detail.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and other areas of the home.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, scrub, sanitize, and perform general cleaning duties.
- Safely use cleaning products and equipment.
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members.
- Report concerns, damages, maintenance issues, or unusual situations.
- Respect clients' homes, belongings, pets, and privacy.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Work efficiently while maintaining our quality standards.
- Help provide an exceptional customer experience at every home.
