Job Title: Chief of Staff to the President

Location: In-Person (Travel Required)
Employment Type: Full-Time, W2
Compensation: Up to $120,000 annually + benefits

Children’s Surgery Center (CSC) is a leading ambulatory surgery center (ASC) specializing exclusively in pediatric dental surgery. Our centers provide safe, high-quality surgical care to children under general anesthesia across multiple states. As CSC continues to grow its national footprint, the Chief of Staff role has been established to support the President in executing enterprise priorities, driving growth initiatives, and maintaining consistency across key projects.

Position Summary

The Chief of Staff to the President serves as the President’s senior execution partner, responsible for driving operational alignment, disciplined follow-through, and performance accountability across CSC’s multi-state ambulatory surgery centers. This role ensures that enterprise priorities translate into measurable outcomes and that execution gaps are identified and addressed in real time.

The Chief of Staff reinforces accountability across functional leaders, strengthens operational rigor, and increases organizational velocity while supporting leadership effectiveness without displacing functional ownership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

President Priority Execution

Translate President-led priorities into structured execution plans and roadmaps
Define clear ownership, timelines, and success metrics
Track progress and proactively address execution gaps
Identify barriers to execution and drive resolution

Performance Visibility

Maintain visibility into case volume optimization, block utilization, anesthesia coordination, scheduling efficiency, cancellation mitigation, and staffing alignment
Identify performance variance across locations and present corrective action plans
Conduct targeted site visits to assess operational discipline and alignment with CSC standards
Reinforce consistency in workflows, training adherence, and throughput expectations

Growth and Market Readiness

Support ramp-up tracking for new ASC launches
Monitor operational readiness milestones prior to go-live
Ensure infrastructure, staffing models, and scheduling capacity are aligned ahead of expansion

Cross-Functional Integration

Coordinate across Operations, Clinical Leadership, Finance, Marketing, and HR when initiatives intersect
Ensure enterprise priorities are not diluted by departmental silos
Clarify accountability and drive measurable follow-through

Executive Leverage

Structure leadership meetings around performance metrics and execution updates
Track action items and ensure commitments made to the President are completed
Prepare concise operational summaries and performance analyses to support executive decision-making

Travel Expectations

Travel will vary depending on partnership development, site visits, and expansion activity
Approximately 5 days per month

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or related field preferred)
2–4 years of experience in healthcare, operations, or business development environments
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent professional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to travel

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
