Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental or medical reception, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in various software systems.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify insurance information and collect necessary patient data
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Handle billing inquiries and process payments
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental or medical receptionist is preferred
- Proficient in using dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or medical software like Epic
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple lines
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of medical records
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
