We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our innovative team and drive the development and implementation of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence solutions within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, validate, and deploy Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and solve complex operational challenges.
- Apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning techniques to generate business and manufacturing insights.
- Develop AI solutions using technologies such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Support the integration and implementation of AI solutions into manufacturing and operational environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and business teams to identify opportunities where data science can drive improvements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, protocols, reports, and development records following quality and compliance expectations.
- Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by applying digital technologies and innovative data-driven approaches.
- Ensure solutions align with quality systems, documentation practices, and operational compliance requirements.
- Manage projects effectively while balancing technical execution, timelines, and business priorities.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:
- Doctorate degree in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field OR Master’s degree plus 2+ years of experience in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field OR Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field OR Associate degree plus 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field OR High School diploma/GED plus 10+ years of experience in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Data Mining, Applied Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred.
- Specialized coursework or certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or AI model development.
- Experience providing manufacturing support; experience in vial filling or similar pharmaceutical manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience deploying or integrating AI/ML solutions into manufacturing or operational environments.
- Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, software development, and modern digital technologies.
- Hands-on experience developing AI/ML models for process optimization, automation, or task improvement.
- Experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with statistical analysis tools such as JMP or similar statistical software.
- Experience creating technical documentation, development records, protocols, and technical reports.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), quality systems, and regulated industry compliance requirements.
- Strong project management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
