Full Job Description

Position Overview:

At Legends Steakhouse Pulaski, the Cook plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by preparing high-quality food in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. The Line Cook will work closely with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure that guest orders are completed to specifications and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare food according to menu specifications and guest preferences.

· Ensure food safety and hygiene by adhering to all health codes and regulations.

· Maintain proper food storage and temperature control to ensure food quality.

· Take allergies seriously and ensure guest needs are met regarding dietary restrictions.

· Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu and its specifications.

· Communicate efficiently with the kitchen staff, including the expo, to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.

· Monitor quality control on all prepared food items.

· Understand and execute proper cooking techniques and temperatures.

· Keep a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.

· Properly use all kitchen equipment, following safety and operational guidelines.

· Follow recipes to the letter to ensure consistency and quality.

· Manage waste by removing full trash bags and relining trash cans.

· Maintain cleanliness in work areas, including picking up any debris from the floor or prep stations.

· Ensure sanitization stations are refreshed regularly with clean water and supplies.

· Assist in cleaning and maintaining restrooms as required.

· Adhere to all company policies and Health Code regulations.

· Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff to maintain a clean and organized environment.

· Maintain confidentiality regarding company, client, and vendor information.

· Adapt to changes in the kitchen environment and work proactively.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:
This position is based in a fast-paced restaurant/kitchen setting, which involves some level of risk or discomfort. Employees must observe normal safety precautions, as the environment can be loud and requires standing for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
