Full Job Description

Description:The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating engaging, strategic, and visually compelling creative assets that communicate our clients' brands across a wide range of digital and print media. This role requires a highly creative individual with strong technical design skills and the ability to manage multiple client brands while maintaining consistency, quality, and attention to detail.

In addition to traditional graphic design, this position plays an important role in creating motion graphics and editing video content for social media, digital advertising, websites, email campaigns, and other marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of professional design experience and is comfortable bringing static creative to life through animation and video editing using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other modern editing platforms.

The Graphic Designer is also responsible for reviewing creative produced by peer designers to ensure all work aligns with client brand standards, agency quality expectations, and creative best practices.

RequirementsEducation

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related field required. Equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience

3–4 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within a marketing agency or multi-client environment
Strong portfolio demonstrating branding, digital design, print collateral, and marketing campaign assets
Demonstrated experience creating motion graphics and editing short-form and long-form video content
Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
Experience preparing files for both digital and print production
Familiarity with social media content creation and current design trends
Experience collaborating with marketing teams, account managers, and creative professionals

Skills & Tools

Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to create engaging motion graphics, animated social media content, and promotional videos
Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro for animation and video editing is a plus
Experience with additional editing platforms such as DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Canva, or similar creative tools is a plus
Familiarity with project management platforms such as ClickUp, Asana, Wrike, or Trello
Working knowledge of digital marketing, social media platforms, email marketing, and web design best practices

Specific Job DutiesGraphic Design & Brand Development

Design creative assets for print, digital marketing, websites, email campaigns, social media posts/reels, presentations, and advertising
Develop illustrations, infographics, presentations, and other visual communication materials
Create creative concepts that align with client branding and campaign objectives
Maintain consistency across multiple client brands and marketing initiatives

Creative Collaboration

Collaborate with Account Managers, Project Managers, Copywriters, Developers, and other designers throughout the creative process
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative creative ideas
Interpret creative briefs and client feedback into polished deliverables
Communicate project progress and proactively identify creative challenges or opportunities

Quality Assurance

Review creative work produced by peer designers to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to client brand standards
Perform quality checks on all deliverables before client submission
Ensure artwork meets technical specifications for print, web, and digital distribution

General Agency Responsibilities

Contribute to the ongoing improvement of creative processes and agency workflows
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, design software, and creative best practices
Participate in internal meetings, creative reviews, and professional development opportunities
Support the agency in maintaining a high standard of creative excellence across all client work

Performance RequirementsAttendance / Effort

Regular availability during core business hours is expected, along with active participation in team meetings, creative reviews, and project discussions. This role requires exceptional organization, creativity, accountability, and initiative. Designers are expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, communicate proactively, and consistently produce high-quality creative work that reflects The Relish Jar's standards of excellence.
