```Job Overview```
We are looking to hire in any of these locations: Fayetteville, Concord, Statesville, or Monroe.

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced individual to join our team as a bilingual (English/Spanish) Lead Legal Assistant. In addition to serving as a primary point of contact and providing exceptional customer service and administrative support, this individual will supervise and mentor a team of legal assistants, ensuring consistent quality, accountability, and smooth day-to-day office operations. This is a full-time position with regular office hours.

DUTIES
Team Leadership

Supervising, training, and mentoring legal assistants, including onboarding new hires and providing ongoing coaching.
Monitoring team performance, providing constructive feedback, and addressing performance issues professionally and promptly.
Coordinating daily workflow and task assignments among legal assistants to ensure adequate coverage and balanced workloads.
Serving as the escalation point for client issues, scheduling conflicts, or administrative problems the team cannot resolve independently.
Conducting regular check-ins with team members and reporting team performance and concerns to the managing attorney.
Ensuring team-wide compliance with firm policies, confidentiality standards, and client service expectations.

Core Legal Assistant Duties

Welcoming clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Maintaining smooth and open communication with clients.
Scheduling appointments and managing the office calendar.
Assisting with the filing and organization of legal documents.
Providing general administrative support (photocopying, scanning, and faxing).
Maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
Handling client inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
Collaborating on other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role (1+ years), preferably in a legal or medical office environment, with at least 6 months in a lead, supervisory, or training capacity.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team; comfortable giving direction and holding others accountable.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively, both for yourself and for the team.
Sales Ability: Demonstrated skills in phone sales and lead capture or conversion.
Precision: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Availability: Saturday availability required.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in using office equipment (printers, scanners, fax machines) and technology.
Phone Etiquette: Knowledge of phone systems and proper phone etiquette.
Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally, including client escalations.
Bilingual Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Software: Proficiency in calendar management tools and appointment scheduling software.
Teamwork: Ability to work independently, lead a team, and collaborate across departments.
Availability: Must be able to reliably work regular office hours with rotating Saturday availability.

Legal Intake Experience: Ability to gather key case information, assess initial needs, and manage client relations from first contact.
Notary Public: Being a Notary Public in your state of residence is preferred.
Legal Support: Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and legal assistants, ensuring a smooth and confidential flow of case information.
Prior Team Management: Experience directly supervising or managing a team of 3 or more in an office or customer service setting.
