Event Marketing Representative – In-Store Sales (Full-Time)

Location: Raleigh, NC
Job Type: Full-Time, W2 Employee
Pay: Base Pay+ Weekly Performance Bonuses

About the Role

Lumex Staffing Agency is hiring a Full-Time Event Marketing Representative on behalf of a Raleigh-based marketing agency. This is a face-to-face, in-store sales position, where you'll represent nationally recognized consumer brands in retail settings across the Raleigh area.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, are comfortable in fast-paced environments, and are looking to grow their skills in sales, customer engagement, and promotional marketing.

Compensation & Employment Details

Base Pay: Guaranteed hourly pay (rate based on experience)
Bonuses: Weekly performance bonuses
Employment Type: Full-Time, W2 employee
Work Setting: In-person, in-store at retail partner locations (not remote)

Products & Services

You will promote and sell consumer products and services such as:

Telecommunications (e.g., internet, mobile plans)
Subscription services
Home improvement services
Water distribution services

All products are from nationally recognized brands and are pre-approved for retail promotion.

Key Responsibilities

Represent client brands during in-store promotional events
Approach and engage customers face-to-face to explain product features and benefits
Drive product awareness and generate on-site sales
Set up branded displays or promotional booths in designated retail areas
Track customer interactions and provide campaign feedback to the team
Work with team leads to improve campaign performance and customer experience

Requirements

Outgoing and friendly personality with strong communication skills
Comfortable initiating conversations and working in a face-to-face sales environment
Previous experience in customer service, retail, or sales is a plus (not required)
Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to meet weekly performance goals
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and travel locally to store locations
