Our Hiring Process

Field Operations is the core of Wynn Site Development’s work. Our crews handle grading, excavation, utilities, storm drainage, and road construction—turning plans into finished sites with accuracy and care. Every project depends on their expertise, coordination, and commitment to safety to keep jobs on schedule and built to last.

Perform general manual labor tasks including but not limited to, loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
Work with safety as a priority, keep the work area clean and clear of debris and help pick up and store materials and tools after the operation.
Be alert to jobsite, other people, and equipment to complete tasks safely.
Performs various skilled tasks that are associated with pipe installation operations. This includes but not limited to shoveling or leveling stone or dirt.
Assure that all safety equipment, tools, parts, and pipe are at the work area.
Check pipe, gaskets, and accessories for defects.
Watch and observe for unmarked utilities and poor wall conditions as the trench is being dug.
Use various tools to measure cut, and install pipe while working together with the crew
Learn more complicated pipe installation techniques, including bends, adapters, tie rods, etc.
May operate some types of equipment such as front loader or small compactors.
Be aware of the schedule so that tasks may be completed in a timely manner.
Follow direction of foreman or designated supervisor.
Provide labor support to site superintendents, equipment operators, utilities crews or other designated site development personnel.
Able to work on heavy trafficked jobsites maintaining eye contact with equipment operators as well as pedestrians to ensure maximum safety.
Work with small tools hand tools including electrical, pneumatic and fuel powered tools.
Able to work outdoors safely and effectively in extreme weather climates- cold, heat, rain, fog.
May be trained to operate rollers, off road trucks and other heavy equipment as needed.
May be trained to check grade using GPS equipment or stakes.
Assist in jobsite cleanup as well as landscape cleanup and maintenance.
Performs all work in conformance to company Health and Safety program.
Always use appropriate personal protective equipment for the task at hand.
Assist skilled laborers and/or operators.
Assist with other tasks as assigned.
