Full Job Description

Currently searching for an Accounting Assistant to join the team at this great employer in Post Falls, ID! If you are interested and meet the requirements listed below, apply now!

Compensation for the Accounting Assistant

$24 - $25 per hour DOE
Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
There are full benefits available upon hire including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, and Profit Sharing!

Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant

Process accounts and payments per financial policies
Perform financial transactions (verifying, posting, recording)
Prepare invoices and bank deposits
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger
Resolve billing discrepancies and client issues
Facilitate invoice payments and collections
Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Accounting Assistant

1 to 3 years of experience in an accounting assistant role
High school diploma or GED
Proficiency in MS Office 365
Preferred: Experience with wholesale sales and inventory
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Customer service and negotiation experience
Invoicing experience is a plus
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures, and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
