Free by the Sea is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team in a dual-role position supporting both our residential treatment program and admissions department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals seeking recovery.

No previous experience is required—we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.

What You'll DoTreatment Assistant

Support clients with daily activities and participation in the treatment program.
Help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
Observe and document urinalysis collections.
Monitor client behavior and report concerns to the clinical team.
Enter accurate documentation into our Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Assist clinical staff in providing high-quality client care.

Admissions Support

Welcome and assist prospective clients and their families.
Conduct intake tasks, screenings, and required documentation.
Verify insurance benefits and assist with the admissions process.
Coordinate admissions scheduling and communicate with referral sources.
Help ensure a smooth, compassionate admission experience from first contact through arrival.

What We're Looking For

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to type 40+ words per minute while maintaining accurate documentation.
Comfortable learning and using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other computer software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn.
Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, substance use treatment, customer service, or administrative support is preferred but not required.
