NOW HIRING: Crew Chief/Lead Mitigation Technician - Be Part of Something Big

Red Dog Restoration is growing at an unprecedented rate. We’re seeking experienced Water Mitigation Crew Chiefs/Lead Technicians to join our powerhouse team.

~ Position Overview

Water Mitigation Technicians will play a hands-on role in emergency water mitigation, mold remediation, and property restoration. Qualified individuals will take a lead on jobs and support team development.

Responsibilities

Identify source of loss and prepare scope of work.
Communicate with all interested parties, including but not limited to property owners and insurance adjusters.
Oversee emergency water extraction services.
Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged and perform demolition tasks.
Responsible for the setup of emergency services equipment.
Effectively supervise crew members and other employees on job sites.
Adheres to EPA, OSHA and local requirements regarding safety and hazardous materials handling.
Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
Review the daily requirements of projects, document progress.
Perform daily inspections of vehicle safety and maintenance and keep these clean and in perfect conditions of use.
Responsible for your truck and a helper (when required).

Must Haves

Water mitigation experience and at least one industry reference.
Experience using water mitigation software.
Understanding of basic mitigation safety.
Ability to effectively use communication devices and technology.
Excellent problem solving, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with time constraints to meet specific deadlines.
Ability to travel and work at night and during weekends.
Deep knowledge of the principles and practices of customer service.
Ability to interpret mold assessment protocols for remediation work.

~ Experience & Skills

1–3+ years in water mitigation/restoration
IICRC certifications preferred (WRT, ASD, AMRT a plus)
Ability to lead crews and communicate effectively with homeowners
Must be reliable, positive, and hungry to contribute

All candidates should have:

A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
Strong work ethic and team-first mindset
