The Role
Donovan is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our growing agency team. This role is ideal for someone who is equally passionate about visual design and digital storytelling through motion. You will play a key role in bringing brands to life across a variety of channels, creating compelling graphic and video content that drives engagement and delivers results.
The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals with video editing expertise, possesses a keen eye for aesthetics, and understands how to create content that resonates across digital, social, web, retail, and traditional marketing channels.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, account executives, content specialists, copywriters, and strategists to interpret client briefs and transform ideas into compelling visual assets.
- Design a wide range of marketing materials including social media content, digital advertising, websites, landing pages, email campaigns, sales materials, trade show assets, and print collateral.
- Develop and maintain brand consistency across all client deliverables, ensuring alignment with established brand guidelines and strategic objectives.
- Edit and produce engaging video content for social media, digital campaigns, websites, presentations, and other marketing initiatives.
- Utilize industry-leading software to create motion graphics, animations, text treatments, and visual effects that enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Perform video color correction, audio balancing, and final post-production editing to ensure professional-quality deliverables.
- Source and integrate music, sound effects, stock footage, photography, and graphic elements to elevate creative executions.
- Assist in concept development and creative ideation for integrated marketing campaigns.
- Prepare production-ready files and assets for both digital and print applications.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Stay current on emerging design trends, video techniques, platform best practices, and creative technologies to continually enhance agency output.
- Contribute innovative ideas that help clients stand out and achieve their marketing objectives.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, video editing, or a related creative role within an agency, brand, or production environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in graphic design, branding, digital content creation, motion graphics, and video editing.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, composition, and visual storytelling principles.
- Experience creating content optimized for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Experience working with Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) brands is preferred.
- Experience with photography, video production, animation, illustration, or web design is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and evolving content creation technologies is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
