Full Job Description

Job Title – Metal Fabrication Laborer

2nd Shift - 2:30pm - 10:30pm (plus OT when available/required)

Job Duties

Operate stamping and forming machines
Assist setting up the tooling and materials required.
Pack and label products per established requirements.
Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.
Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and completed work.
Able to recognize manufacturing issues and seek assistance when necessary.
Follow written procedures and work instructions and complete production paperwork accurately.
Participate in supervised equipment preventative maintenance.
Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed.
Understand and support company policies and procedures.
Comply with all safety requirements.
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience

Able to read and understand a tape measure and do simple arithmetic.
Able to follow directions and learn basic metal fabrication processes.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Commitment to quality and accuracy of work performed.
Able to understand, read, and write in English.

Physical Requirements

Lift, carry, push and or pull up to 50 lbs frequently.
Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.
Sit, stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.
Work in a fast paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing as required.
