Full Job Description

Job Summary

This is a professional position that is an integral role in servicing customers as well as vendors for Risser’s Poultry, Inc. and its entities. The accounts payable coordinator will use their organizational skills to process the accounts payable for 6 different entities. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will need to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and growers. Other administrative tasks may need to be completed as needed to support the Controller.

This position directly reports to the Controller.

Job Requirements

Risser’s Poultry Accounts Payable Coordinator must be able to perform the following tasks:

2.1.1 Provides excellent customer service to producers, growers, vendors, employees etc.

2.1.2 Maintains vendor list and updates quarterly.

2.1.3 Assist Controller with preparation of tax exemption forms, W-9’s, credit references, and COI.

2.1.4 Keeps organized and accurate bookkeeping and processes all accounts payable for 6 different entities for Risser’s Poultry, Inc.

2.1.5 Prepares and provides weekly AP aging reports.

2.1.6 Performs weekly AP check runs.

2.1.7 Maintains digital files and allocations for all AP records.

2.1.9 Prepares weekly egg letters to be mailed with grade outs and payment

2.1.10 Ensures that all communications both internally and externally maintain a professional image.

2.1.11 Willingness to join and participate in company committees or events

2.1.12 Addresses other tasks and responsibilities as may be directed by the Controller.

2.1.13 Assist Controller with month end variance analysis as needed.

2.1.14 Assist Controller with annual budget preparation.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
