Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our team and drive operational excellence across our financial functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the optimization of financial processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support strategic decision-making through comprehensive analysis and effective project management. As an integral part of our operations team, you will leverage your expertise in finance, accounting, and industry regulations to enhance efficiency and accuracy across various financial activities.

Duties

Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and industry-specific financial regulations.
Prepare detailed reports on financial performance, audit findings, and compliance status for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
Manage financial software systems, spreadsheets, and databases to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
Support tax accounting activities by ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with relevant tax laws.
Assist in project management tasks related to financial system upgrades, regulatory changes, or process redesigns.

Requirements

Proven experience in finance or accounting roles with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and modeling.
Demonstrated ability in financial model development, analysis skills, and auditing procedures.
Familiarity with financial software platforms used for accounting, reporting, or regulatory compliance purposes.
Knowledge of GAAP standards and industry-specific financial regulations governing mergers & acquisitions, tax accounting, and financial reporting.
Strong communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration across departments.
Project management experience with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
